This Christmas popcorn, also known as Christmas Crunch, is a festive sweet-and-salty snack made with popcorn, melted white chocolate, pretzels, M&Ms, and holiday sprinkles. It’s an easy, no-bake treat perfect for parties, gifting, and holiday movie nights.

Ingredients

  • 10–12 cups popped popcorn (or 1/3 cup kernels, popped)

  • 1 (10–12 oz) bag white candy melts or white chocolate, melted

  • 2 cups mini pretzels (whole or broken)

  • 10 oz red and green M&Ms (regular, peanut, or peanut butter)

  • 1/2 cup Christmas sprinkles (jimmies or nonpareils)

  •

Instructions

  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper and set aside.
  2. Add the popped popcorn to a large bowl.
  3. Melt the white candy melts or white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth, or use a double boiler.
  4. Add the melted chocolate to the popcorn along with half the pretzels and half the M&Ms. Mix until evenly coated.
  5. Quickly spread the coated popcorn mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. While the chocolate is still melted, sprinkle the remaining pretzels, M&Ms, and all the sprinkles on top.
  7. Let the mixture harden at room temperature for 45 minutes.
  8. Once set, break into chunks and serve or store.

Notes

  • Use kettle corn or sea salt popcorn for added flavor contrast.
  • Colored candy melts can be used for a festive drizzle effect.
  • Make sure bowls and utensils are completely dry before melting chocolate to prevent seizing.
  • Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness for up to 2 weeks.
