This cozy gingerbread latte is a warm, spiced, and dairy-free seasonal drink made with molasses, maple syrup, and classic holiday spices. It’s easy to prepare and perfect for a comforting winter beverage to share with a friend.

Ingredients

  • 1¾ cups almond milk
  • 1 cup coffee (hot or cooled)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Whipped cream, for topping (dairy-free or regular)

Instructions

  1. Add almond milk, coffee, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, vanilla extract, molasses, and maple syrup to a blender.
  2. Blend until all ingredients are well combined and smooth.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until steaming and hot, about 5 minutes.
  4. Divide the hot mixture into two mugs.
  5. Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon, if desired.
