An Irresistible Take on Cranberry Turkey Sliders with a Buttery Twist

Cranberry Turkey Sliders

These cranberry turkey sliders are buttery, baked mini sandwiches layered with thick-cut turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, and melty Swiss or provolone cheese on sweet Hawaiian rolls. Topped with a savory Dijon garlic butter glaze, they’re a fast, crowd-pleasing appetizer or leftover makeover.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound thick-cut deli turkey or ham
  • 6 large slices Swiss or Provolone cheese
  • 1 1/4 cups cranberry sauce
  • 1 (12-count) package Hawaiian Dinner Rolls
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom halves in a lightly greased baking dish.
  3. Layer the turkey evenly over the bottom rolls.
  4. Spread cranberry sauce over the turkey.
  5. Top with Swiss or Provolone cheese slices.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese layer.
  7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and poppy seeds.
  8. Brush the butter mixture evenly over the tops of the rolls.
  9. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 12 minutes.
  10. Remove the foil and continue baking for another 12 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  11. Let cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use leftover roasted turkey, ham, or rotisserie chicken instead of deli turkey.
  • Swap Swiss or provolone with white cheddar, Havarti, or dairy-free alternatives.
  • Use vegan butter and omit cheese for a dairy-free option.
  • For a crispier finish, broil the sliders for the last 1–2 minutes of baking (watch closely).
