Pizza Bread Parcel

These easy pizza bread parcels are a perfect snack, featuring crispy, garlicky bread stuffed with a cheesy, veggie-filled pizza filling. They bake up golden and gooey, providing a quick and satisfying meal for pizza lovers.

Ingredients

  • 5-6 white bread slices
  • 5 tbsp paneer, chopped
  • 3 tbsp capsicum, chopped
  • 3 tbsp tomato, chopped
  • 3 tbsp onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp pizza sauce
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • Salt to taste
  • 3 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • Mozzarella cheese, as required
  • Red chilli flakes, for garnish
  • 5-6 toothpicks

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, combine paneer, capsicum, tomato, onion, mozzarella cheese, pizza sauce, oregano, and salt. Mix well and set aside.
  3. Make garlic butter by mixing softened butter with garlic paste.
  4. Flatten each bread slice with a rolling pin and generously spread the garlic butter over each slice.
  5. Add the pizza filling diagonally on the bread slice.
  6. Top the filling with more mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with red chilli flakes.
  7. Fold the bread slice diagonally, joining the corners and securing with toothpicks.
  8. Place the parcels on a lined baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  9. Remove toothpicks before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh bread slices for the best texture.
  • Feel free to customize the filling with other veggies like mushrooms or olives.
  • If you like a spicier kick, add more red chilli flakes or a dash of hot sauce.
  • These parcels can be prepared ahead and baked when ready to serve.
