Freeze Oreo Balls

freeze oreo balls

These Oreo Balls are a rich, no-bake dessert made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and a chocolate coating. They’re perfect for holidays or whenever you need a quick, crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups white chocolate chips, almond bark, or candy melts (melted for coating)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese and mix until fully blended.
  3. Use a cookie scoop or your hands to roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  4. Place the Oreo balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and refrigerate until firm, about 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips, almond bark, or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted chocolate using forks, allowing the excess to drip off.
  7. Return coated balls to the baking sheet and let the chocolate set completely in the fridge.

Notes

  • You can freeze uncoated Oreo balls and dip them later for convenience.
  • Top with crushed peppermint, sprinkles, or chopped nuts for variety.
  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture and flavor.
