Garlic Parmesan Green Beans

Crispy Garlic Parmesan Roasted Green Beans are a quick and flavorful side dish featuring roasted green beans tossed with fresh garlic and shredded parmesan. Perfectly tender with golden, crispy edges, they make a savory addition to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1½ lbs fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tbsp avocado oil (or olive oil)
  • 6 large garlic cloves, minced
  • ¼ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • ½ tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Lemon, to squeeze over the top (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim both ends off the green beans and place them in a large bowl.
  3. Add the oil, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to the bowl and toss until the beans are fully coated.
  4. Spread the green beans in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 20 minutes, or until the beans are tender with crispy edges.
  6. Optional: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top before serving.

Notes

  • Check the beans around 12 minutes to monitor doneness, especially if your oven runs hot.
  • You can substitute parmesan with Pecorino Romano or Asiago cheese.
  • Use two baking sheets if doubling the recipe to avoid overcrowding.
  • For extra crispiness, broil for the last 1–2 minutes, watching carefully.
