Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into 1-inch wedges
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Wash and scrub the sweet potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into 1-inch wedges.
  3. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, smoked paprika, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.
  4. Toss the sweet potato wedges in the garlic oil mixture until evenly coated.
  5. Add half of the grated Parmesan cheese to the wedges and toss again.
  6. Arrange the wedges in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese, and let it melt slightly.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
