Irresistible Grinch Oreo Balls for a Festive Treat Adventure

grinch oreo balls

These Grinch Oreo Balls are festive, no-bake treats made with crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and green candy melts. They’re fun, creamy, and perfect for holiday parties or gifting.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 12 oz green candy melts
  • 1 tsp coconut oil (optional, for smoother coating)
  • 1 cup red heart sprinkles
  • 1 cup red mini M&Ms (optional)

Instructions

  1. Crush 36 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Oreo crumbs with 8 oz softened cream cheese. Mix until a smooth, dough-like consistency forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the balls for 60 minutes until firm.
  5. Melt 12 oz green candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl, heating in 30-second intervals and stirring in between. Stir in 1 tsp coconut oil if needed for thinning.
  6. Dip each chilled ball into the melted green coating, allowing excess to drip off. Place back on the parchment-lined sheet.
  7. Top each coated ball with a red heart sprinkle or mini M&M before the coating sets.
  8. Refrigerate the finished balls for 30 minutes or until the coating is fully set before serving.

Notes

  • Ensure cream cheese is softened for easier mixing.
  • Use coconut oil to thin out candy melts for smoother coating.
  • Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Customize with peppermint extract, nuts, or different colored coatings.
