Lazy Slow Cooker Chocolate Candy

This Lazy Slow Cooker Chocolate Candy is a no-bake, sweet and salty holiday treat made effortlessly in a slow cooker. It’s loaded with white chocolate, colored wafers, peanuts, pretzels, and festive candy-coated chocolates, making it perfect for gifting or snacking.

Ingredients

  • 4 (12 oz) bags white baking chips
  • 2 (12 oz) bags colored melting wafers (red, green, or mixed)
  • 32 oz salted peanuts
  • 2 cups candy-coated chocolate pieces (like M&Ms), divided
  • 1½ cups crushed mini pretzels
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line your slow cooker with a liner or parchment for easy cleanup.
  2. Layer white baking chips, colored melting wafers, and peanut butter into the slow cooker without stirring.
  3. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 hour.
  4. After 1 hour, stir everything together until fully melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in salted peanuts and crushed pretzels.
  6. Fold in 1 cup of candy-coated chocolates.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized spoonfuls of the mixture onto wax or parchment-lined surfaces.
  8. While still warm, press a few of the remaining candy-coated chocolates on top of each mound.
  9. Let candies cool completely at room temperature or refrigerate for 30–45 minutes until firm.
  10. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or in the fridge.

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute peanuts with roasted sunflower seeds or soy nuts.
  • Customize with seasonal candy colors for different holidays.
  • Use a cookie scoop for evenly sized candies.
  • Freeze in an airtight container for up to 3 months with parchment between layers.
