Irresistible Oreo Truffles

Oreo Truffles

Oreo Truffles, also known as Oreo cookie balls, are a simple and decadent no-bake dessert made with just three ingredients. These bite-sized treats are rich, fudgy, and coated in a smooth chocolate shell, perfect for holidays, parties, or a quick sweet fix.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreo cookies
    8 oz cream cheese, softened
12 oz semi-sweet or white chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor and pulse until they become fine crumbs. Set aside 1 tablespoon of crumbs if you want to use them as garnish.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the Oreo crumbs and blend until fully combined into a thick dough with no white streaks.
  3. Use a tablespoon or small cookie scoop to form 1-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Refrigerate the balls for at least 60 minutes to firm up.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.
  6. Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate, coating fully, and place them back on the parchment paper.
  7. Sprinkle reserved Oreo crumbs or other desired toppings over the wet chocolate.
  8. Refrigerate the coated truffles for another 60 minutes or until the chocolate shell has hardened.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cream cheese for best consistency and richness.
  • You can substitute flavored Oreos for variety (e.g., Mint, Golden, Peanut Butter).
  • Use a fork or dipping tool to help with coating the truffles in chocolate evenly.
  • Store truffles in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze for up to two months.
