Peppermint Oreo Truffle Balls

Peppermint Oreo Truffle Balls

Peppermint Oreo Truffle Balls are festive no-bake treats featuring crushed Oreos, cream cheese, and peppermint candies coated in milk and white chocolate. Each truffle hides a peppermint chocolate kiss for a delightful surprise. They’re rich, creamy, and perfect for holiday gifting or party trays.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups crushed Oreos (filling removed)
  • 8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed peppermints, divided
  • 32 Peppermint White Chocolate Kisses
  • 10 oz (285 g) milk chocolate melting wafers
  • 10 oz (285 g) white chocolate melting wafers

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and fluffy, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Stir in half of the crushed peppermints and all of the crushed Oreos until evenly combined.
  4. Using a 1-inch cookie scoop, portion the mixture and press one peppermint chocolate kiss into the center of each ball. Roll to form smooth truffles.
  5. Place truffles on the prepared tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
  6. In microwave-safe bowls, melt the milk and white chocolate wafers separately in 30-second bursts, stirring between each until smooth.
  7. Using a fork, dip each chilled truffle into melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off before returning to the tray.
  8. Drizzle alternating chocolate over the coated truffles and sprinkle with remaining crushed peppermint while still tacky.
  9. Allow chocolate to harden completely before serving or storing.

Notes

  • Use full-fat cream cheese for the best texture.
  • Replace peppermint kisses with regular chocolate kisses for a milder flavor.
  • Store truffles in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for up to 3 months.
  • Gluten-free sandwich cookies can be substituted for Oreos to make this recipe gluten-free.
