Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 6 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook sausage links until browned and heated through. Set aside.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Melt butter in the same skillet over low heat. Add egg mixture and cook, stirring gently, until eggs are just set.
  5. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  6. Add a spoonful of scrambled eggs and shredded cheese onto each triangle.
  7. Place a sausage link on the wide end of each triangle and roll up toward the tip.
  8. Place roll-ups seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Substitute crescent dough with puff pastry or gluten-free alternatives as needed.
  • Use plant-based sausage and cheese for a vegetarian version.
  • Customize with diced vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for added flavor and nutrition.
  • To reheat, bake at 350°F for 10 minutes or microwave for 30 seconds.
