Buffalo Chicken Sliders

These spicy buffalo chicken sliders are the ultimate game day or weeknight meal. Juicy shredded chicken is tossed with buffalo sauce and ranch, layered with cheese, and baked inside buttery slider buns until golden and melty.

Ingredients

  • 9 pack slider buns
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup Frank’s buffalo hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (Colby Jack or preferred type)
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for garlic butter)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (for garlic butter)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning (for garlic butter)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 baking sheet or casserole dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, ranch dressing, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly combined.
  3. Slice slider buns horizontally and place the bottom halves in the prepared baking dish.
  4. Spread the chicken mixture evenly over the buns and top with shredded cheese.
  5. Place the top buns over the filling.
  6. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush the mixture over the tops of the buns.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes, or until buns are golden and cheese is melted.
  9. Cut into individual sliders and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use rotisserie chicken for faster prep and richer flavor.
  • Substitute blue cheese dressing for ranch for a tangier twist.
  • Air fryer method: cook at 400°F for 10 minutes if preferred.
  • Prep the chicken filling up to 3 days ahead; assemble sliders just before baking to avoid soggy buns.
  • Freeze the filling (not assembled sliders) for up to 3 months.
