A refreshing fall-inspired drink that combines spiced chai tea with creamy pumpkin cold foam. This Starbucks copycat recipe brings cozy pumpkin spice flavors into an iced latte you can easily make at home. Perfect for autumn mornings or an afternoon pick-me-up.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon canned pumpkin puree
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or vanilla syrup)
  • 1/8 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup milk of choice (2% recommended)
  • 1/2 cup chai tea concentrate
  • Ice, as needed

Instructions

  1. Add heavy cream, whole milk, pumpkin puree, syrup, and pumpkin pie spice to a mason jar or glass.
  2. Use a handheld frother to whip until smooth and fluffy, about 10–20 seconds. Set aside.
  3. Fill a tall glass with ice and pour in 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup chai tea concentrate.
  4. Top the iced chai with pumpkin cold foam and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a dairy-free version, use oat, almond, or soy milk and a plant-based cream alternative.
  • To make it hot, warm the chai and milk before topping with cold foam.
  • Add a shot of espresso to create a dirty pumpkin chai for extra caffeine.
  • Freeze leftover pumpkin puree in ice cube trays for future use.
  • A handheld frother creates the best foam texture, though a whisk can be used in a pinch.
