This Strawberry Cheesecake Dump Cake is a simple, crowd-pleasing dessert made with just five ingredients. Layers of strawberry pie filling, yellow cake mix, cream cheese, and butter bake into a gooey, cobbler-like treat topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (21 ounces each) strawberry pie filling
  • 2 packages (15.25 ounces each) yellow cake mix
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 cup butter, melted
  • Whipped cream, for serving

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 13×9-inch baking dish.
  • Spread strawberry pie filling evenly into the prepared dish.
  • Sprinkle one package of yellow cake mix over the filling.
  • Dot cubed cream cheese evenly across the surface.
  • Cover with the second package of yellow cake mix.
  • Pour melted butter evenly over the top.
  • Bake for 45–50 minutes, until the top is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  • Cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack before serving warm with whipped cream.

Notes

  • Do not mix the layers; the texture depends on keeping them separate.
  • You can swap strawberry pie filling for cherry, blueberry, or peach.
  • Sweeten cream cheese by mixing with vanilla and powdered sugar before baking.
  • Try different cake mixes like chocolate or spice for unique variations.
  • Best enjoyed warm, but leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days.
