Strawberry Limeade Mocktail

Strawberry Limeade Mocktail

This Strawberry Limeade Mocktail is a refreshing 10-minute non-alcoholic drink made with fresh strawberries, lime juice, and a touch of sweetness. Perfect for summer days, it combines fruity flavor with tangy zest for a naturally cooling beverage.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 2/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 4–5 limes)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar or sweetener substitute
  • 3 cups cold water, divided
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Fresh strawberry slices for garnish
  • Lime wedges for garnish
  • Fresh mint leaves (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries, then add them to a blender with 1/4 cup sugar and 1/2 cup of water. Blend until smooth.
  2. Optional: Strain the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds for a smoother texture.
  3. Add 2/3 cup fresh lime juice and the remaining 2 1/2 cups of cold water. Stir until well combined.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or tartness by adding more sugar or lime juice as desired.
  5. Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the strawberry limeade over them.
  6. Garnish with strawberry slices, lime wedges, and mint leaves before serving.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace 1 cup of water with sparkling water or club soda.
  • For a frozen version, blend all ingredients with 2 cups of ice for a slushy texture.
  • Use ripe, deep red strawberries for the best flavor and color.
  • Let the drink rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for enhanced flavor.
