  • 1 tub whipped topping

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Add the angel food cake mix and cherry pie filling to a large mixing bowl. Stir gently until fully combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is lightly golden and the cake is set.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool completely.
  6. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the cooled cake.
  7. Chill before slicing and serving.
