  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1/4 cup granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup cold cubed butter until crumbly.
  3. Press crust mixture evenly into the baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Meanwhile, whisk 1 cup brown sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla, 1 tbsp vinegar, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1/2 cup raisins.
  6. Pour filling over the pre-baked crust and spread evenly.
  7. Bake again for 25–30 minutes until the center is set and top is golden.
  8. Cool completely in the pan, then lift out using parchment and cut into 16 squares.
