- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
- Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
- Lay the dough triangles out on a clean surface.
- Spread or spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each crescent triangle.
- Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese.
- Starting at the wide end, gently roll each crescent up toward the pointed end, wrapping the filling inside as much as possible.
- Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with a little space between them.
- Bake for about 14 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.
- Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a simple glaze if desired.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
