Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles along the perforated lines.
  4. Lay the dough triangles out on a clean surface.
  5. Spread or spoon a small amount of the cream cheese mixture onto the wider end of each crescent triangle.
  6. Add a spoonful of cherry pie filling on top of the cream cheese.
  7. Starting at the wide end, gently roll each crescent up toward the pointed end, wrapping the filling inside as much as possible.
  8. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet with a little space between them.
  9. Bake for about 14 minutes, or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.
  10. Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
  11. Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with a simple glaze if desired.
  12. Serve warm or at room temperature.
