Instructions
  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente, then rinse thoroughly with cold water to halt cooking. Drain well and set aside to cool completely.
  2. Prepare your seafood; boil fresh shrimp until pink, then chop, or simply chop pre-cooked shrimp and imitation crab meat into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Chop fresh vegetables like celery, red bell pepper, and red onion into small, uniform pieces for a pleasant crunch.
  4. Whisk together the dressing ingredients: mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, fresh lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth and combined.
  5. Combine the cooled pasta, prepared seafood, chopped vegetables, and dressing in a large bowl, gently tossing until everything is evenly coated.
  6. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least one hour to allow the delicious flavors to meld together beautifully.
  7. Serve the chilled salad garnished with fresh parsley and a dusting of paprika, if desired, for an extra pop of color and flavor.
