  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries, finely chopped
  • 3 cups assorted fresh fruit (such as sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries)

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 13-inch round pizza pan or baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, stir together the sugar cookie mix, 1/2 cup melted butter, and 1 large egg until a soft dough forms.
  3. Press the dough evenly onto the prepared pan, spreading it into a large oval or egg shape.
  4. Bake for 10–15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.
  5. In a blender or food processor, combine 4 oz softened cream cheese, 1 tablespoon powdered sugar, 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract, and 1/2 cup chopped strawberries. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spread the strawberry cream cheese mixture evenly over the cooled cookie crust.
  7. Arrange the 3 cups of assorted fresh fruit on top in a decorative pattern.
  8. Slice and serve immediately, or chill until ready to serve.
