French Toast Sausage Breakfast Sliders

These French Toast Sausage Breakfast Sliders are sweet, savory, cheesy, and comforting. Mini French toast rounds or mini pancakes are layered with breakfast sausage, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and maple syrup for an easy breakfast, brunch, or breakfast-for-dinner idea.

Instructions
  1. Cook the sausage patties: Place the sausage patties in a skillet over medium heat and cook them until browned and fully cooked through. Turn them as needed so both sides get a nice golden color. Once done, set them aside on a plate.
  2. Scramble the eggs: Add a little butter to a pan over low to medium-low heat. Crack in the eggs or pour in beaten eggs, then cook gently while stirring until soft and fluffy. Do not cook them too hard or too long.
  3. Warm the mini pancakes or French toast rounds: Heat the mini pancakes or French toast rounds according to the package directions or warm them in a skillet until soft, warm, and ready to stack.
  4. Start building the sliders: Place one mini pancake or French toast round on the bottom as the base.
  5. Add the sausage: Set one breakfast sausage patty on top of each bottom piece.
  6. Add the scrambled eggs: Spoon a little soft scrambled egg over the sausage patty.
  7. Add the cheese: Top the eggs with a slice or sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
  8. Add the top piece: Place another mini pancake or French toast round on top to finish each slider. Press gently so the layers settle together.
  9. Drizzle with maple syrup: Drizzle warm maple syrup over the sliders just before serving.
  10. Serve warm: Serve the sliders right away while the eggs are fluffy, the sausage is warm, the cheese is soft, and the syrup is glossy.
