Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. Spread the cherry pie filling evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Add the drained crushed pineapple over the cherry pie filling. Do not mix too much — just enough so it is layered evenly.
  4. Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the top.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter across the surface, covering as much of the cake mix as possible.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes, until the top is golden and the edges are bubbling.
  7. Serve warm, preferably with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
