- Prep the Corn (5 minutes): If using fresh ears, cut the kernels off the cob by standing the ear upright on a cutting board and slicing downward with a sharp knife. If frozen, thaw and drain excess water.
- Mix Butter and Honey (2 minutes): In a small bowl, combine softened butter and honey. Stir until smooth and well blended.
- Heat the Skillet (1 minute): Place skillet over medium heat and warm for about a minute.
- Sauté the Corn (5-7 minutes): Add corn kernels to the skillet. Stir occasionally, letting the corn get a little golden and caramelized in spots.
- Add Honey Butter, Salt & Pepper (2 minutes): Lower heat to medium-low. Add honey butter mixture to the corn, stirring gently to coat. Sprinkle in salt and pepper. Stir until butter is fully melted and corn is glossy and fragrant.
- Finish with Herbs (Optional, 1 minute): Stir in fresh herbs if using.
- Serve Immediately: Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy warm.
