Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream with a mixer until soft peaks form.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Stir until fully blended.
  3. Fold the whipped cream gently into the condensed milk mixture using a spatula until smooth and airy.
  4. Pour in the orange juice and sprinkle in the zest. Mix gently until everything is incorporated. Add food coloring if using.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a freezer-safe container, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  6. Press plastic wrap or parchment paper directly onto the surface to prevent ice crystals.
  7. Freeze for at least 6 hours or until solid and scoopable.
