Philly Cheesesteak Crescent Rolls

  • Provolone cheese
  • Bell peppers, diced
  • Onion, diced
  • Cream cheese, optional

  • White American cheese, optional
  • Garlic powder, optional
  • Worcestershire sauce, optional
  • Jalapeños, optional
  • Parmesan cheese, optional
  • Fresh parsley, optional

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F / 190°C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the diced bell peppers and onion until softened.
  3. Add the thin sliced steak or roast beef and cook until warm and tender.
  4. Season with black pepper and stir until the meat and vegetables are evenly mixed.
  5. Remove the skillet from the heat and let the filling cool for a few minutes.
  6. Stir in the provolone cheese and cream cheese, if using, until evenly combined.
  7. Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles.
  8. Spoon some of the cheesesteak mixture onto the wider end of each triangle without overfilling.
  9. Starting at the wide end, roll each triangle toward the pointed end.
  10. Place the filled crescent rolls on the prepared baking sheet with space between them.
  11. Bake for 16 minutes, or until golden brown and fully baked.
  12. Let the rolls cool for a few minutes before serving.
