  • 1/4 cup sugar (of choice (pure maple syrup, white sugar, xylitol, etc.))
  • 2 tsp lemon juice (or zest of 1 lemon)
  • optional pinch salt

  1. To make strawberry sorbet, remove the stems and freeze the berries if they are not already frozen. If you have a high speed blender like a Vitamix, no ice cream machine is required. Simply blend all ingredients until the mixture achieves a smooth sorbet texture. Otherwise, let the berries thaw until they can be processed in a regular blender, then transfer the mixture to an ice cream machine and churn according to manufacturer's instructions.
