  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 3x3 inch squares.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice. Mix until smooth.
  4. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of the cream cheese mixture into the center of each pastry square.
  5. Fold the corners of each square toward the center or leave them open-faced.
